Roger was a great neighbor when he lived in Bentwood. Always was there when help was needed. Hated to see him leave the Drums area. But he still kept in touch. I have a lot of good memories. Condolences to the family. And rest in peace my friend.

Growing up on Buffalo Street near Vines most childhood days were spent with the Vines . Much time spent at Vine house listening to stories by Louis and the rest of the time at a shack/treehouse in the woods near Roger’s house. He was ambitious and really made something of himself. good man.

Roger was a wonderful friend and neighbor, I’m going to miss our weekly beers and talks. Always cracking a joke, even the ones he had told several times over. I’ll catch you for a cold one and a “shorty” on the other side old friend. RIP

Roger was a wonderful man , uncle and a great friend! We enjoyed our time with Roger had some great meals and told some corny jokes.. You will be truly missed. We know your happy being with Virginia (momma) again. We'll see you both til then R.I.P.
