Obituary of Zoe Anne Moller

Zoe Anne Moller, 85, of 231 Hunt Road, passed away Wednesday morning, May 11, 2022 at UPMC Chautauqua. She was born January 28, 1937 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Judson Henry and Carol Olive DuBois Monfort, and was a 1955 graduate of Jamestown High School. In 1957, Zoe Anne married Terry C. Moller, with whom she just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. She was the wonderful mother of four children: Greg (Rhonda) Moller of Jamestown, Dave (Kathy) Moller of Russell, PA, Steven (Mary O'Leary) Moller of S. Dayton, NY, and Lori (Donald) Stearns of Russell. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a brother, Richard D. Monfort of Jamestown. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Hultgren. Zoe possessed an entrepreneurial spirit that began with Bee Line Crafts, Avon and Tupperware sales. She was later the very successful owner and operator of the Jamestown business, Craft World for 25 years. She obviously enjoyed all crafts, especially cross stitch and knitting, along with bird watching from her windows and back deck. In earlier years, Zoe was a Red Cross volunteer, Boy Scout Den Mother, Girl Scout Troop Leader, and belonged to the Jamestown High School Music Parents. She enjoyed many years of travel that included camping in the family's home-built camper she helped construct. They camped in Algonquin Park, Canada, the Adirondacks in New York, and many other states on the east coast. Together with her mother, Zoe traveled by coach and train across the country on several occasions. Zoe and her husband, Terry, together enjoyed several cruises, a trip to Hawaii, and many snowbird trips to Florida. Zoe Anne was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 16th in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert J. Hagel, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service Monday in the funeral home.
