Obituary of James D. Taylor
James Douglas Taylor, age 65, died on July 3, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved son of Jack and the late Joan Hamilton Taylor. Jim was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 11, 1957, and grew up in Twinsburg, Ohio, where he excelled in youth sports. He attended Chamberlin High School in Twinsburg and was a U. S. Navy veteran. He lived in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and most recently in Jamestown, New York. He was pre-deceased by his long-time partner and best friend, Vicki Faust. Jim was also predeceased by his sister, Amy Taylor, and his nephew, Ross Church. He is survived by his father, his sisters, Patricia Church (Philip), Kerry Eloshway (John) and Kristine Taylor (David Hamilton), nephews, nieces and great-nephews and great-niece. Jim enjoyed good food, the outdoors, music, his pets and his family and friends. Although disabled for many years, Jim always kept a cheerful and grateful attitude. He will be greatly missed. A service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio. Memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County, www.mhachautauqua.org.
