Obituary of Myrtle L. Barlow

A memorial service for Myrtle L. Barlow, 90, who died March 15, 2022 at her home in Busti, NY, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 6th in the Lind Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Myrtle was born in Angola, NY on August 10, 1931 and had been an area resident since 1967. Things that Myrtle loved were her donkey, "Buddy" and all animals, especially cows. She also enjoyed farming and watching golf. Surviving are three sons: Gregory Barlow of Busti, Ronald Barlow of Phoenix, AZ, and Richard Barlow of The Villages, FL; a daughter, Diane Root of The Villages; grandchildren, Brandi Barlow, Dalton Barlow, Eric Barlow, Jason Barlow, Thomas Barlow, Erika Hurwitz, and Dustin Barlow; and her great-granddaughter, Penelope Barlow. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Baker; two sons, Stephen Barlow and Ted "TG" Barlow; and a granddaughter, Lisa Marie Becker.
