Obituary of Barbara J. Robinson

It is with extreme sadness that I announce the death of my mother and best friend. Barbara J. Robinson, 80, of Jamestown, NY, passed away at 8:35 am Thursday, August 4, 2022, in her home following an extended illness. She was the most important person in my life and will be missed greatly. Barbara was born September 29, 1941, in Winston Salem, NC, a daughter of the late Lacey and Mattie DeBerry. Before her retirement, she was employed as a registered nurse for the former Jamestown General Hospital and WCA Hospital. Surviving is her daughter, Carla Robinson with whom she made her home, two brothers, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. As per Barbara's request, there will be no formal service or visitation observed. Memorials may be made to Chautauqua County Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 West Fairmount Ave. Lakewood, NY 14750.
