Obituary of Dennis D. Ricker

Dennis D. Ricker, 79, of Jamestown, NY, passed away at 9:25 pm Friday, August 19, 2022, in UPMC Chautauqua. A lifelong area resident, he was born July 14, 1943, in Jamestown, NY, a son of the late Robert and Madeline E. Rasmussen Ricker. Dennis was a graduate of Jamestown High School and before his retirement was employed for many years by Matco Tool Company in Lakewood, NY. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather who loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He also loved to watch NASCAR races. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Sandra Mudge Ricker whom he married April 23, 1966, three daughters: Deborah (Randy) Milks of Kiantone, NY, Tammy (Steve) McKinsey of Busti, NY, Jennifer (Robert) Yahner of Warren, PA, three grandchildren: Aleesha Stafford of Busti, Jordyn Milks of Kiantone, Riley McKinsey of Busti, one great granddaughter: Olivia Stafford and a brother, Dale (Sonja) Ricker of Fredonia, NY. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lynn R. Ricker who died January 25, 1995. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
