I used to be Karen's and Nancy's baby sitter many years ago. I lost touch with Shirley when I left the area in 1961, but made a brief contact again when Quentin passed away. I often wondered how she was doing but was unable to get back in touch with her. I was saddened when I read of her passing. I shall visit her grave the next time I visit Sugar Grove. I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Shirley’s passing. She was my wonderful neighbor for 3 years. We became friends immediately when we met and shared LOTS of laughs and life’s stories! She had a great laugh! Shirley spoke of you all often.. she missed you and worried about you. She enjoyed her life and loved her husband.
