I am very sorry to hear about Dan's passing. I did not know him well but met and talked with him several times at Dixon reunions and family events. Dan was always friendly and kind to me. I married his cousin Jack and Dan always made me feel welcomed into the Dixon clan. I did not know he spoke fluent German. How unique. Dan was a special person who showed much kindness to his family. I am glad he had Julie, Jon and their sons in his later years to help him through those years. God bless Dan and may he rest in peace.
