I remember Spiro as a terrific guy during the 1950s while growing up on Jefferson Street. He was friends with my older brother Norm who passed away in 2020. His parents, brothers, and sister defined the Greek Americanism that made us all proud to be Americans. Our neighborhood was made up of Greek, Albanian, and Italian immigrants who like Spiro’s parents raised decent and productive first generation Americans. We were raised in the greatest neighborhood in the USA. REST IN PEACE SPIRO. May the Lord look after your family and friends too. Peter James (PeterOfUSA@yahoo.com)
