Obituary of Daniel R. Magnuson

Daniel R. Magnuson, 56, of Greenhurst, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 7, 2022, in his home. A lifelong area resident, he was born December 15, 1965, in Jamestown, NY, a son of Pearl A. Joslyn Magnuson and the late Robert L. Magnuson. Daniel was a graduate of Maple Grove High School. Daniel enjoyed growing up and spending time fishing and boating on Chautauqua Lake. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Surviving is his mother, Pearl A. Magnuson, three sisters: Sherry Magnuson of Wilmington, NC, Debra Magnuson of Falconer, NY, Laurie Magnuson of Mentor, OH, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Magnuson who died May 29, 1979. A private family service was held at the Fluvanna Cemetery. The Rev. Todd Wentworth, pastor of the Fluvanna Community Church officiated. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
