Bill and boys:
I don't know what to say.. I just happened to look at the obituaries online and was shocked to see Nancy's picture. Hard to believe we met in 1992 In Andy's office. We had such fun together and have stayed in contact all these years. I would get a hold of her and ask " are you making my favorite cookies this year? You know, the ones that are those tiny circles w/icing in the middle that melt in my mouth?" There weren't too many years that I didn't get a little goodie bag that I savored and never shared.. :) I would comment when she came into work. " Cute vest".. Her reply, " yeah I made it before work this morning".. I would laugh and be amazed since I can't thread a needle. She had also made a quilted Santa wall hanging that I told her she was not allowed to take when she left the office. I have it to this day and hang it up every year. This year it will have extra special meaning. I could go on and on about this sweet lady that I was honored to call my friend.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Nancy will sure be missed by her family and friends. I have great memories of Nancy from the Boy’s Club pool and from quilting activities we shared. Her laughter and joyful nature were magnets to people around her. Her giving nature was part of her attitude and personality. She will sure be missed.

More than a sister, also a friend. She was always there for me and my parents also when they got older. She went out of her way to make sure you were okay. She is loved and missed.

Such a kind, loving and talented woman, Nancy always brought light into a room.. I loved her laugh, her readiness to share a story, or a recipe. We would catch up on family and grandchildren at the pool. I will always be grateful to her for making quilts made from my son’s shirts after his death. Thinking of Bill, Kevin and Craig and the Hawkins sisters with loving thoughts.

I also knew Nancy through the Grace EUB church on N.Main St. We all had great fun in those days in our youth groups. She was such a fun and happy person. I would run into her on and off over the years and we always would reminice. Condolences to her family. Julie Widlund-Catanese.

To Bill, Sally, Janet and Cindy,
I am so sorry for your loss. My maiden name is Marcia Bunge . Nancy and I were great friends that attended GraceEUB Church and Washington Junior HighSchool together. We went to camp together and often walked home from school together or had sleep overs. I remember her gentle, sweet personality. I just recently connected with her an Facebook. I was hoping to share quilting pictures. We never got that done, I feel so bad about that. I can not imagine the huge loss you feel right now. You are in my prayers. The Bible tells us we will be together again, in heaven. I find comfort in that. May God comfort you .
