I’m very sorry to hear of Doctor Paul’s passing. My heart goes out to his family during this time. I worked with Dr. Meyerhoff as a dental assistant. He had a sweet and loving soul and cared deeply for his patients. I enjoyed listening to his stories and all the interesting things he had to say. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to know him. ♥️

My memory of Paul as a friend was pulling him behind a boat. It was like freebird, pure joy on his face. Discussing politics with Paul over a beer on the deck was always a highlight. Discussing philosophy, religion and Shakespeare. He was Ivy league educated and an intellectual. And he was a poet . A renaissance man and a good man and a man always concerned about taking care of his family - the definition of a man. A life well lived. He is in a better place. The place he always aspired to.

We mourn the lose of Dr. Paul. He was a generous, helpful and a compassionate person. We were honored that we were not only his patients, but also a friend. He is in very good hands now and is watching down on his family and friends. His memory will always be in our hearts and hopefully someday we will be able to join him in the glory of God and Heaven. God bless you.

Brenda, my heartfelt condolences. I recall many happy hours visiting Paul & you when I would make a yearly visit to your house during the summer. I’d known Paul since our freshman year at UR. He was truly a zany but always a helpful & remarkably good soul. He will be missed.

I lived in Forestville for 16 years and was a dental patient of Dr. Meyerhoff during that time. In 1987 my mother, who lived near Pittsburgh, was staying with us as she neared death from lung cancer. She had lost so much weight that her false teeth no longer fit comfortably in her mouth and she was experiencing additional pain as a result. She had never seen Dr. Meyerhoff but we stopped in his office, with no appointment, and asked to speak with him. I was assuming a remedy might take weeks and be quite pricey, but after taking a look he remedied the situation in minutes and charged us, I believe, $10. It was an act of kindness and Christian charity that I have never forgotten. My condolences to this good man’s family and friends.
