Obituary of Dennis R. Gould

Dennis R. Gould, 65, of Willow Ave. in Jamestown, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 30, 2022 at UPMC Chautauqua. He was born April 2, 1957 in Bradford, Pa. and was a son of the late Richard H. Sr. and Mary Burkett Gould. Dennis grew up in Morningside, MD and following graduation from high school, he served as a submariner in the US Navy from 1977 to 1987. Dennis worked in electronics repair for much of his career and resided in the Jamestown area for the past 25 years. He belonged to the Masons in former years and was a Koinonian. He enjoyed old movies, the Art Deco Era, and was a fan of the Buffalo Bills and NASCAR. Surviving are two brothers, Richard H. (Karen) Gould, Jr. of Jamestown and Brian D. Gould of Triangle, VA; nieces and nephews: Chris (Sarah) Gould, Sarah (Ron) Overby, Jennifer Gould, Adam Gould, Andrew Gould, Carly Gould and Abby Gould; as well as his cat, Rex. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Gould. A celebration of Dennis' life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Maryland. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701.
