When I was 12, Shirley became my surrogate mother when my mother passed away at the young age of 48. Melinda and Kim were the sisters I never had. I still dream of going to their house on Shadyside and baking Shirley's famous chocolate bunt cake. Shirley loved to sing and dance and we would pile 13 kids in her red VW and go to Lakewood Beach. I love you Shirley, and will see you and Kim again. ❤
