An area resident for most of her life, she was born December 5, 1933, in Warren, PA, a daughter of the late Guy E. and Blanche Allen Parker.

She will be remembered as a loving and caring sister and aunt who loved spending time knitting items for her family members, especially children, and was an avid reader. She was also a loving caregiver to her husband when he became disabled and needed special care.
Surviving are two sisters, Patty Bennett, Marie Westerlund both of Jamestown, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton C. "Punkin" Field whom she married June 17, 1950, and who died April 18, 2013, and four sisters, Grace Parker, Hazel Parker, Betty Mathews, and Jean Vitello.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Brown of the Fellowship Baptist Church, Massillon, Ohio will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
