Obituary of Timothy B. SaGurney

Timothy B. SaGurney, of Erie, PA, formerly of Jamestown, NY, died on Sunday, December 25, 2022, in St. Vincent Hospital, Erie, PA. Tim spent his career working in the dental industry as a dental ceramist. He was recognized several years in the American Dental Association Registry. Tim was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts. Tim also enjoyed watching his favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees. Tim played in a softball league for many local churches, and he played baseball for the Jamestown Old Timers baseball team. Tim enjoyed bowling and was a member of several different Jamestown bowling leagues. Tim enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing and driving his beloved Corvette. Tim was a member of the Chautauqua County Corvette Club. Tim enjoyed playing guitar and played in local bands in the 1970's and 1980's. Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Linda Andrews SaGurney, two children Bryan (Chris) SaGurney of North East, PA and Shelly (Dean) Kirby of Edinboro, PA; three grandchildren- Alexa SaGurney, Kaitlyn Kirby-Schuler (Jordan) and Matthew Kirby; a brother Gary (Karen) SaGurney; brother-in-law Jim (Amy) Andrews and sister-in-law Roxanne Andrews; three nephews- Jonathan Andrews, Matthew SaGurney and Jay SaGurney; two nieces- Abbey Soffel and Kylie Andrews. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dorothy SaGurney. Tim enjoyed spending time with family and close friends; a life well lived. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 6, 2023, in St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 410 N. Main St., Jamestown, NY. Inurnment will be in St. Luke's Episcopal Church's Columbarium. Friends will be received from 2:00-4:00 pm, Thursday, January 5, 2023, in the Lind Funeral Home, 805 W. Third St., Jamestown, NY. Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 410 N.
