Obituary of Patricia M. Chriscaden

Patricia M. Chriscaden, 86, of Youngsville, PA and Orange City, FL, passed away Wednesday January 4, 2023, at Snyder Memorial Health Care Center in Marienville, PA. She was born in Youngsville, PA, on April 19, 1936, a daughter of the late William and Mary J. Mahoney Reed. Patricia was a member of the United Methodist Church in Youngsville, PA Before her retirement she worked at Cummins Engine in Lakewood, NY. Patricia is survived by her daughter Diane Chriscaden; four grandchildren: Rebecca "Becky" Chriscaden of Celebration, FL, Katherine "Katie" Chriscaden of Jamestown, NY, Christine (Joe) Forsyth of Buffalo, NY and Mark Fisher of Fairmont, WV; four great grandchildren: Abby Forsyth, Luke Forsyth, Sam Fisher, and Elias Fisher; a nephew David Armstrong; daughter-in-law Yvonne Chriscaden; four brother Richard LaCarmen of Bear Lake, PA, Samual Bowers, Joseph Reed and William Reed; a sister Cathrine (Reed) Armstrong and many other nieces and nephew. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth C. Chriscaden Sr., whom she married on April 28, 1951, and who died on December 7, 2005; her son Kenneth C. Chriscaden Jr. and her daughter Cynthia Chriscaden Fisher. The funeral will be held at 4 pm Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorials may be made to Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd, Jamestown, NY 14701.
