I was saddened to see of the passing of Dick. I played baseball with Dick on the National Worsted Babe Ruth team which was the first season of Babe Ruth baseball. I played 2nd base, Dick was at short stop and Jim Hannon was at 3rd. Dick was a very very good baseball player. He wasn't loud but let his play speak for him. I ran into Dick a few times in Jamestown but we moved to Rochester NY 34 years ago. I can see he loved the game and sports by the things he went to and participated in. My sincere condolences to his family. He was a fine man.
