Obituary of Wayne C. Robinson

Wayne C. Robinson, 81, of Jamestown, NY, passed away Monday January 16, 2023, at UMPC Chautauqua. He was born September 26, 1941, in Jamestown, NY, a son of the late Clair and Faye Price Robinson of Frewsburg, NY. As a member of the New Apostolic Church for over 60 years, he served as a deacon for more than 40 years in Jamestown, NY and most recently attended the congregation in Randolph, NY. Even in retirement, he continued to serve maintaining church calendars and keeping schedules up to date. Before his retirement, Wayne was employed at Anderson Precision Inc. as a machine operator for many years. Wayne was known for his witty sense of humor and making those around him feel loved and included wherever he went. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Hildegard Sander Robinson, whom he married May 13, 1962; three daughters: Elizabeth Smith and Suzanne (Alfred) Moretti of Jamestown, and Heidi (Paul) Pfleuger of Collins, NY; a sister Diane Robinson Carr of Annapolis, MD.; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Robinson of Frewsburg, NY. A Celebration of Life Service for Wayne will be held Saturday, January 28th at 2pm at the Randolph Fire Hall, 70 Main St., Randolph, NY with open visiting from 1-2pm.
