Obituary of Jacqueline L. Cotter
Jacqueline L. Cotter, 76, of Jamestown passed peacefully Sunday, January 22nd at UPMC Chautauqua surrounded by her family.
Jackie was born and raised in Philipsburg/Osceola, Pa. Upon her graduation from high school, she was employed by the Identification Division of the FBI in Washington, DC.
Jackie married her lifelong partner and best friend, Richard A. Cotter, and they then went on to raise three children together – Jason (Abby) Cotter, Shannon Anderson, and Daniel (Kimberly) Cotter.
Jackie returned to work and finished her career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, retiring after 30 years of service.
Jackie enjoyed traveling on spring and summer vacations and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a kind and generous person and will be dearly missed by those who knew her best.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Lake View Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
