To Father Joe Campion (my brother priest of the Lafayette diocese) and the entire Campion family, be assured of solidarity in faith and love at your loss. John's obituary shone with glimpses into his faith-filled life of love and service to the Lord, his family, the Church, the community, and our country. I offered Mass for John this morning at 7:00 in the Chapel of the Missionaries of Charity in Lafayette, Louisiana. The family of Lee 'Barney' Kellogg (1932-1995) and Joyce, extends to each of you: Kathleen, John, Maura, Michael, Joseph, Kathleen, Christopher, James, and Paul; and your families, our most-sincere sympathy in the passing of your loved one. I'm positive he has reunited with Mary Fran. Be strong; I know you will. I have notified certain members of our former staff here in Jamestown and Buffalo; and anyone I missed I certainly apologize. I worked for John for 20 years and won't bore you with the fun we had working at our two locations, mainly, 500 Cherry and 1 Lockwood Terrace. It was my great privilege to work for John; he had a wonderful life. Until you meet again, be well. I should also tell you he and Kathleen lived here at Fairway Pointe, now Connect 55+ for awhile. I kept him stocked with some books of each of our favorite authors. He was a great friend. I shall miss him.

Campion family I’m a friend and colleague of Chris and Mary, and I wanted to offer my condolences to the entire family. Chris speaks of you all often, and he and Mary clearly have a lot of love and devotion to you all. I’m sure this is a difficult time for everyone; the loss of the father is a heavy weight regardless of age, circumstance, etc. My wife Stacey and I will keep you all in our prayers and I’m sure Chris and Mary know that whatever we can do for you we will not hesitate.
