Obituary of Dong Nyo Galbraith

Dong Nyo Galbraith, 82, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday February 18, 2023 at the Star Hospice House in Lakewood. She was born November 24, 1940, in Korea, a daughter of the late Hyun Houn Youn and Um Kiyo. She moved to the United States in 1970 and then to Jamestown in 1986. Prior to her retirement in 2005 she worked in housekeeping at WCA Hospital in Jamestown. Dong was a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving is her son Thomas Galbraith of Jamestown and her brother in Korea. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her six brothers and her sister. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church. Friends will be received an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Levant Cemetery.
