Obituary of Timothy J. Truver

Timothy J. Truver, 64, of Jamestown, NY, passed away on Friday February 17, 2023, in UPMC Chautauqua. A lifelong area resident, he was born August 24, 1958, in Jamestown, NY, a son of the late Theodore O. and Joan Bryant Truver. Tim was a self-employed painting contractor for several years and in earlier years while living in Florida was a landscaper for Jackie Gleason. He will be remembered as a fiercely loving father and grandfather and a free spirit who had a great sense of humor, an unforgettable laugh, and an infectious smile. Surviving are his two children, Stephanie (Chris) McCleskey of Madison, Al, Dylan Truver of Jamestown, NY, two grandchildren, Madison McCleskey of Madison, AL, Calloway McCleskey of Ellsworth Air Force Base, SD, and two brothers, Douglas (Laura) Truver of Jamestown, NY, Bobby (Kimme) Truver of Ashville, NY. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy (Gary) Carlson. Funeral services will be private and visitation will not be observed.
