Obituary of Robert Mahoney

Robert Mahoney, 89, of Jamestown, passed away February 27, 2023, at Westfield Memorial Hospital. He was born October 25, 1933, in New York, NY, a son of the late Frank and Paulien Foege Mahoney. Before his retirement he was a machinist for several different Companies but most recently at Blackstone Advanced Technology in Jamestown. Robert enjoyed going to 711 to play lottery tickets, eating and drinking at Tim Hortons with his friends. Surviving is his son Steven (Katherine) Mahoney of Jamestown; his daughter Sandra (Merrell) Crowl of Jamestown; four grandchildren: Jason Mahoney, Joe Mahoney, Nicole (Ovan Oakley) Mahoney of Connecticut, Paulien Mahoney, Janet Thomas, and Haylee Ford and eight great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jerris T. Luciano Mahoney, whom he married January 15, 1955 and who died December 2, 2001; his son Robert Mahoney Jr.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Friday in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
