Obituary of Patricia M. Dole

Patricia S. Dole, 93, formerly of Panama, died Tuesday February 28, 2023, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing. She was born August 14, 1929, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Milo and Alice Bohall Sard. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Panama Central School as a cafeteria worker for over 20 years. She enjoyed baking, gardening, reading and was very proud keeping her house, which her husband built, meticulously clean. More than anything she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are three children Patrick (Joyce) Dole of Panama, J. Craig (Lynn) Dole of Columbus, IN and Cynthia (Philip) McEntarfer of Cave Creek, AZ; five grandchildren Adam Dole of Drexel Hill, PA, Olivia Dole of Carmel, IN, Ethan Dole of Columbus, IN, Christina Nelson of Lincoln, CA and Catilyn Wells of Cave Creek, AZ and six great grandchildren Korene and Lillie Aldrich, Emmett Dole, Elias and Emery Nelson and Lincoln Wells. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband E. Donald Dole, whom she married May 15, 1948, and who died January 20, 2004; a son Thomas Dole; granddaughter Ashley Dole and siblings Allen Sard, Jacqueline Swanson, William Sard, Cynthia Brunecz and Michael Sard. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Monday in the Lind Funeral Home, where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Panama Union Cemetery.
