Obituary of Randall W. Johnson

Randall W. Johnson, 71, of Jamestown, NY, passed away at 6:40 am Monday, March 6, 2023, in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. A lifelong area resident, he was born July 10, 1951, in Jamestown, NY, a son of the late Einar and Mabel Johnson Randy was a 1970 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended the State University of New York at Geneseo. In earlier years he had been employed by the Post Journal and attended the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Falconer, NY. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time fishing. Surviving are two sisters, Sharon Riggs of Nolensville, TN, Judith Slyck of Ontario, NY, a brother, Mark Johnson of Jamestown, NY and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Suzan Rybij and Sandra Kelderhouse. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Inurnment will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
