None of you will know/remember me but back in the 80’s I had just moved down to Jamestown from Buffalo for a job in trucking and I lost my job. Chuck let me work on the farm for a lot of that summer. He was good, fair, honest, hardworking man and I will always be grateful that he allowed me to make some money, and to feel good about myself during a rough stretch. RIP, Chuck, Jim Berlin

I am so sorry to hear about Chuck. I was a member of his class in high school and he will be missed. Chuck was a quiet member but was always in a good mood. He invited our class to his house for one of our last reunions and it was so good to be with everyone. A wonderful person…so sorry for the loss.

I have so many years of wonderful memories. Chuck was the best neighbor and friend you could ever have. Always so kind,
so helpful (above and beyond). I will always feel indebted to him, but the only payment he wanted or would take were Cookies.
I have since then moved away but one afternoon in the cemetery while I was there for a burial, he came at the end to oversee things and I couldnt help but throw my arms around him and hug him. We both almost fell down. He then said to me, where have you been? And where are my cookies ! lol My last time talking with him, but I will have years of those cherished memories. What a dear friend. My entire family will miss him. He truly was a blessing to us.
Sue (Trostle) Griffin and family.

Our hearts and comforting prayers are with you today.
"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." Leo Buscaglia
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. Philippians 3:20-21
