Obituary of Francis M. Snyder

Francis M. "Frank" Snyder, 86, of 43 Falconer Street, died Friday April 14, 2023, in his home. A native of Attica, NY, he was born March 27, 1937, a son of the late Eldred and Lillian Delude Snyder. He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard. He was a cook in various restaurants and was then called to the ministry. He led churches in Attica, Gowanda with the Seneca Nation, and Calvary Baptist in Jamestown. He also ran a school of Theology via mail correspondence that worked with many people that society had left behind. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Jamestown. Surviving is his companion of 37 years John Hanna; two sons David (Jamie Donatello) Snyder of Zephyr Hills, FL and Lance (Valerie) Snyder of Alden, NY; brother Ernest Snyder of Tonawanda, NY and sister Lori Hawkins of Tombstone, AZ. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Veterans Grove of Lake View Cemetery.
