Obituary of Donald H. Fiasco

Donald H. "Pee Wee" Fiasco, 84, of Jamestown, NY, died Wednesday April 26, 2023, in his home surrounded by those who loved him. He was born May 31, 1938, in Cresson, PA, a son of the late George and Mary Clare Hunt Fiasco. He was a 1956 graduate of Hastings High School in Pennsylvania and served 8 years in the US Navy. He was employed by Valeo, Marlin-Rockwell, and Proto Tool as a machinist and following retirement worked at Moon Brook Country Club in maintenance. He enjoyed woodworking and golfing. Surviving is his wife Shirley Wills Fiasco, whom he married April 11, 1964; Four children: Michael (Kimberley) Fiasco of Richmond, VA, Dawn Marie (John) Saucerman of Havasu Lake, CA, Robert (Megan) Fiasco of Pittsburgh, PA, and Sherrie (Andrew) Durow of Randolph; seven grandchildren; a great grandchild and a sister Mary Clare Kelly of Silver Springs, NY. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kristen Saucerman and a brother Thomas Fiasco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Wednesday in Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3-6 pm Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Veteran Service Organization or Chautauqua County Hospice.
