Larry Kelly lit a candle
“I am heart broken to hear of John’s passing. John and I were best friends in Korea. We worked in the lab together and spent much of our off time together. He made my 13 month tour enjoyable while others complained. 53 years and I still think of him often. His mustache was well known throughout the base. Many higher ranked would stare at it and try to say it was against regulation. But John always was within the code. It was just a lot bushier than any others. I will think of him when I shave.”
