Deepest sympathy for all family and friends who are gathering to celebrate Monica's life. She was a classmate from K to 12 and a kind, sweet, loving soul who brought many smiles to many people. We will all miss her, but trust that our "flying nun" is resting peacefully with her maker in heaven. Love and peace to all.

So so sorry & saddened to have heard of Monica's passing away. She was such a wonderful, nice person. We always got together whenever she would come back. I used to tease her by calling her ''the flying nun''. RIP Monica. I'll never forget you. Here's a picture of 3 of us WHS Class of 1972 classmates having Maid-Rites together a few years ago. And then the other one I found doesn't have her in it, per say, but it's a drawing of Hope's late brother that Monica & Hope had me draw for his birthday several years ago now. Somewhere I have a ''flying nun'' [Monica] drawing but I can't find it. I bet she's really flying now, just like an angel in Heaven.

Memories of Monica go back to kindergarten. We were in many classes together throughout school. We sang in choir, an octet, and trio. We laughed our way through HomeEc - as farm girls we could have taught the class! On Monica’s 12th birthday she had a slumber party while a blizzard developed outside. The 45’s played on the record player and we all sang about Snoopy and the Red Baron for hours. She was our goalie in indoor hockey during Freshman year Phys. Ed. Always positive and willing to be part of the team, Monica was an asset and friend to her classmates. Rest in peace until we meet again in eternity.
