Freedom Haskin said this at the Haskin Reunion in 1882 in Ellery:
… she has gone to where those who are left behind will go someday. To that fairy land where pain and sorrow and parting will be no more and where we expect to see our Fathers, Mothers, Brothers, Sisters, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins all our friends. Yes, all the families of the Earth will Meet in one great Family Reunion.
And there we will stay and shout and sing
And make the fairy arches ring
When all friends get there
There we will bask in the sunshine of everlasting joy
Where love and friendship reign supreme, with nothing to annoy
There God’s soft hands will wipe the tears from every weeping eye
There pain and sorrow, hate and fear and death itself shall die
