Obituary of Debra J. Griffin

Debra J. Griffin, 68, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday May 25, 2023, in Warren Manor Senior Living. She was born August 3, 1954, in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Robert and Marian Ketchell Shavalier. Debra is survived by seven children: Rebecca Griffin, Michael Griffin, Matthew Griffin, Stephen Griffin, Natasha Griffin, Victoria Griffin, Donald Griffin, Jr.; her brother, David Shavalier, and sister, Lori Shavalier; and an aunt, Dora Cote. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Griffin, Sr. in 2007; her brother Dennis Shavalier, and her significant other Walter Wannamaker. She is also preceded by several aunts and uncles, including Gerald, Jim, Harold, Willis and Leon Ketchel, Edith Bailey, Gertrude Goodnoe, and Jody Macalusso; and a cousin, Karen Holmberg. In keeping with her wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
