Obituary of Sandra M. Volpe

Sandra M. Volpe, 59, of 25 Cherry Street, Frewsburg, died Saturday June 10, 2023, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. She was born April 1, 1964, in Jamestown, a daughter of Gary and Mary Mierzwa Griffin. She was a 1982 graduate of Southwestern Central School. For 18 years she was employed by Walmart as a pharmacy technician. She was recently baptized into the Catholic faith. As a member of the Busti Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary she was a past vice president. She enjoyed vacations and spending time at the beach, but more than anything she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her mother Mary Griffin of Busti; two daughters Kristen (Andrew) Wiltsie of Jamestown and Jennifer (Jeremy Cowan) Volpe of Jamestown and five grandchildren Trenton and Tanner Martinelli and Kaylynn, Andilynn and Kamryn Wiltsie. She was preceded in death by her father. The funeral will be held at 11:30 Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Busti Cemetery.
