Obituary of Elaine M. Lang

Elaine M. Lang, 88, formerly of Jamestown and Kennedy, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the Lutheran Home & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Jamestown Sept. 25, 1934, a daughter of the late Blaize and Ella Olsen Marzalen, and was a graduate of Jamestown High School. For 31 years Elaine was employed as a glass cutter at Falconer Glass Industries. Following retirement, she worked at the local Kmart. Elaine enjoyed yard sales and time with her two cats, Snoopy and Holly. Surviving are three sons: Steven (Debbie) Lang of Ogden, UT, Randall (Mary Bruner) Lang of Louisville, KY, and Jeffery (Tracy) Lang of Kennedy; ten grandchildren: Jennifer (Brian) Lang, Danielle (Shalon) Corbett, Tabitha (Tim) Pattison, Tabatha (Kim) Smith, Randi (Jon) Brumbaugh, Joshua (Cassie) Kelsey, Tarah Lang, Justin Martin, Bianca Petteys, and Alan Petteys; 18 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and 2 great great great grandchildren; and a brother, Jim Marzalen of Jamestown. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Shaun Lang; brother, Ronnie Marzalen; and sister-in-law, Lucille Marzalen. Per Elaine's wishes, no service or visitation will be observed at this time. A Celebration of her life will be held on a future date.
