Obituary of Thomas E. Schnars

Thomas E. Schnars, 60, of Busti, NY passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at UPMC Chautauqua. He was born in Jamestown, NY on January 30, 1963, a son of the late Robert and Joann Babyak Schnars, and attended Southwestern Central School. He had earlier been employed by the Loranger Corp. in Warren, Pa. and in recent years by International Ordnance Technologies in Jamestown. Tom enjoyed camping, the outdoors, automobile racing, and caring for family dogs. Surviving are two sisters, Terri (Kelley) O'Neill and Jody (Kevin) Miller, both of Ashville; a brother, Tim Schnars of Sugar Grove, Pa.; and nieces and nephews, Shannon O'Neill, Casey (David) Karwick, Corey Schnars, and Ryan Schnars. Friends will be received from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Busti Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Busti Fire Dept., 886 Mill Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701.
