Obituary of Nancy L. Moynihan

Nancy L. Moynihan, 67, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at UPMC Hamot in Erie with her family by her side. A Jamestown native, she was born Aug. 2, 1955, the daughter of the late Robert A. and Betty L. Thurston Nelson and was a 1973 graduate of Jamestown High School. Nancy had most recently worked as a bus monitor for Corvus Bus & Charter in Gerry. Nancy loved spending time with her family, and she also deeply loved her pets, dogs and cats alike. She was a past member of the Vikings. Surviving are her children, Stephanie L. Prynn (Jeff Pastore) and Christopher R. Moynihan (Ashley), and three granddaughters, Lauren Prynn, Alia Moynihan and Linnea Moynihan, all of Jamestown; as well as a brother, Robert T. Nelson of California. Friends will be received from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 16th in the Lind Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701. She will be forever missed and loved.
