Obituary of Lorenza Mongitore

Lorenza Mongitore, 88, of Jamestown, died Thursday July 20, 2023, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. Coming to the United States in 1972, she was born October 24, 1934, in Capo Di Bonifati, Calabria, Italy, a daughter of the late Carmine and Maria Rosaria Castiglia Quintiero. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. Surviving is her husband Gaetano "Tom" Mongitore; two daughters Maria L. Mongitore and Alejandra M. (Richard) Swanson both of Jamestown and two grandchildren Adrian and Alexa Swanson of Jamestown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by seven siblings.
