I have known the MacTavish family for over 60 years, Roger crossed my path when I played sports at SWCS. He will always be remembered for his tenacity for sports, fairness, and leading by example. He will be missed by all those who knew him. My condolences to Roger's family, Cindy and Paula

Thinking of the MacTavish family as this difficult time. Roger's mother Fern was a relative of my grandmother, Hilda Lenna. I remember visiting the MacTavish home as a child and playing with all of the children. I am now 81 years old and have lived in Rochester, New York for more than 50 years. Hilda Milham

To Rogers family,
I will and have always treasured the games Roger was our referee. The debates, the times in the coaches office after the games. I remember the game he came to the bench and told me your son is on the bench I know what your doing, get your kid in the game your team needs him.
Thank you for sharing him with us!

The family of Lee 'Barney' Kellogg (1932-1995) and Joyce, extend to each of you our most-sincere sympathy in the passing of your loved one. Be strong; I know you will.
Roger was a dear friend of ours for many years; was in our home many times when we needed a 'fix-it man'. He was the best; and always in a great mood.

I have never met a more knowledgeable or dedicated man to the game of basketball. I am proud to have to worked with him and even prouder to have known him. Behind his low keyed reserved personality was a powerful passion for fairness and consistency. Don’t get his back up he could handle any situation on a basketball court. I also witnessed a confident but humble man. At this time I want to thank his family for sharing him with us. He will always be a part of our minds and hearts.
