Obituary of Angeline L. Muscarella

Angeline "Angie" L. Muscarella, 97, of Jamestown, NY, passed away peacefully in the arms of our heavenly father on August 23, 2023, at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center in Dunkirk, NY. She was born in Silver Creek on February 3, 1926, the daughter of the late Anthony and Rachel Augello Tedesco. Angeline was a graduate of Silver Creek High School and started working right after school to help with the World War Two efforts. Her groom had returned from three years of service in the U.S. Navy and was married on June 1, 1946. Soon after they had a son Lory Jr. Angie will be remembered for her 15 years working for Nelson and Butts Floral Designs. She volunteered for 15 years at Tanglewood Manor where she loved caring for the residents and showing them kindness. Her favorite pastime was hosting summer yard sales at her home. Surviving is her niece Rachal Estee and her daughter Beth (John) Schunk, Janet Estee. Julie Estee; nephew James Marzullo; nephew Dr. Sam (Maryam) Muscarella and their daughter Olivia; as well as many more loving nieces and nephews and extended family. She was also a God Mother to 16 children. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lory C. Muscarella whom she married June 1, 1946, in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, and who passed away September 7, 2019; son Lory Muscarella Jr.; brother Joseph Tedesco and three sisters: Antoinette Perry, Rose Marzullo and Mary Gullo. A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday August 26, at the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be held Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Silver Creek, NY.
