Obituary of Patricia S. Knowlton

Patricia S. Knowlton, 73, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023 at the Star Hospice House in Lakewood. She was born Dec. 17, 1949 in Jamestown. the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Seitz Rundell Biekart, and was a 1968 graduate of Panama Central School. Pat had been a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, enjoyed collecting African violets and in earlier years, training dogs. She is survived by a stepdaughter, LeeAnn (Gordon) Fairbanks of Gerry, stepson, Dennis (Kate) Knowlton of Jamestown, and nine step grandchildren, as well as her neighborhood friends. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth K. Knowlton whom she married Nov. 9, 1969 in the Panama Methodist Church and who died April 7, 2004. Following Pat's wishes, no service or visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery with her husband, Ken.
