Obituary of Edward Suleski
Edward L. Suleski, 77, of Panama, NY, passed away peacefully in his garden doing what he loved on Monday August 28, 2023.
He was born November 17, 1945, in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Edward J. and Regina Cybulska Suleski.
Ed was a 1963 graduate of Burgard Vocational High School in Buffalo, NY where he learned the printing trade.
Following high school, he met the love of his life Elaine who he married on July 11, 1963, and together they raised four beautiful children. This year, Edward and Elaine celebrated their 60th anniversary. He had a strong belief in Jesus Christ and was never scared to tell you how he felt about his beliefs.
Prior to his retirement Edward worked as a printer for the Buffalo Courier-Express and most recently as a mailman for the Post Office in Gerry and Sinclairville.
Edward was a member of the Amateur Radio Operator where he was the president of the club, Tea Party Patriots, Western New York Freedom Seekers, SCOPE and the NRA.
Ed was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, trapping, and most importantly gardening. He had a green thumb and enjoyed planting his herb garden. He also had a passion for tracking the weather and he reported the precipitation monthly for over 20 years to the National Weather Service.
Surviving is his wife Elaine Germain Suleski; four children John (Brenda) Suleski, Allegheny, NY, Dawn (Leon) Pijanowski, North Collins, NY, Anne Dimitriadas (Margaret Daly), Charleston, SC, Martin (Lindsey) Suleski, Valparaiso, Indiana; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, four sisters, three sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law and many, many nieces, and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Virginia (Suleski) Tarquin eight weeks ago and a brother-in-law.
The funeral will be held on Friday September 8th at 11 a.m. at the Lind Funeral Home.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, an hour prior to the service.
Burial will be held at Panama Union Cemetery.
