Obituary of Richard S. Wedlock

Richard (Dick) Wedlock of Jamestown passed away September 14th at Heritage Park. Dick was a graduate of Jamestown High School. He was employed by Sprinchorn & Co. from the age of 18 until he retired as the Project Coordinator 43 years later. He was a long-time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. On September 15th 1962, Dick married his first love and only love, Dora Anderson at Scandia Covenant Church. He is survived by his wife, their three children and their families; Dr. Michael Wedlock, Gettysburg, PA, Laurie Lassinger, Jamestown, NY and Jenny Wells, Tempe, Arizona. His grandchildren were the light in his eyes; Cody Lassinger and his new wife Michala, Lucas Lassinger and Rebecca Wedlock Wells. He is now doing cartwheels in Heaven with his dear granddaughter Kaylee Lassinger. A private service will be held at the Lind Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hinman officiating. Burial will be in Scandia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kaylee's Place built in honor of his granddaughter, c/o Hillcrest Baptist Church, 40 Hallock St., Jamestown.
