Obituary of Stephen J. Tollivoro Jr.
Stephen J. Tollivoro, Jr., 82, of 715 Falconer Street, formerly of 9 Winsor Street, died Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
He was born July 3, 1941, in Jamestown, a son of the late Stephen and Minnie Corio Tollivoro, Sr.
He was a 1959 graduate of Jamestown High School.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by Crawford Furniture and earlier by Jamestown Lounge.
Stephen was a devout Christian and a member of New Covenant Assembly.
As a sports enthusiast, he was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Browns. He liked listening to music and reading. He also greatly enjoyed the companionship of his Boston Bulldogs.
Stephen is survived by his sister Evangeline Morris of Greenwood, MO, and his brother Daniel (Cheryl) Tollivoro of Pleasant Hill, CA. He also leaves behind several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Long-time close friend, Ken Fair of Jamestown, and Stephen's loving cousin, Karen Bernat of Erie, PA, provided exceptional care and support to him during his later years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant twin brother, David Tollivoro, and a sister, Mary Ann Fitzgerald.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home where family and friends will be received from 1-2 pm Wednesday.
The funeral service will be live-streamed and accessible on the funeral home's website.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
