Obituary of Edward John Legg

Edward John Legg, 77, of 959 Forest Avenue, died Monday September 25, 2023, in UPMC Chautauqua. He was born September 26, 1945, in Rochester, NY, a son of the late John Legg and Susan Weed. He was a graduate of Brockport High School. Prior to his retirement in 2017, he worked for the Resource Center's Sheltered Workshop. Ed was a Special Olympics athlete, participated in Boy Scouts and studied Karate. He enjoyed photos, Western and Scary movies, traveling, and the rodeo. He will be remembered as a jokester. Surviving is his brother George (Wendy) Colucci of Holley, NY; nieces Chrissy and Brianna and special friends from The Resource Center who were as close as family. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Schlesing. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Visitation will not be observed.
