Greg Yaw was the father of my best friend and next-door neighbor growing up. He taught me so much, including food, culture, and dealing with tax problems for a very small startup. He didn't complain when David and I dug a trench between our houses to network our computers, he didn't complain when the line was struck by lighting, and he didn't complain when I may have overstayed my welcome.
He was a good man, and always was kind to me. I didn't know him as a lawyer; I knew him as a human I could look up to, and learn from.
Greg, you will be missed by all.

Carol and I offer our deepest regrets and sympathy on Greg's passing. Greg was the key to making the South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer project a success. As a County Legislator, I spent countless hours working and traveling with Greg, including a critical trip to New York City to get the final approval for the project from the EPA. His professionalism, analysis, insights, and integrity were unparalleled. I valued Greg as a friend and colleague and his dedication to his community will be missed by all. To Kathy and his family, we hope that his energy and love will dwell in your hearts forever.

Greg was a lifelong friend and trusted advisor as were our parents before us. I can’t imagine anyone taking any better care of myself, or my family than Greg did. Our condolences to Kathy and kids.

I offer my sincere sympathies to Kathy and family. I will miss my friend. Greg was extremely smart however attentive to others and their point of view. No matter how hard I tried, I never beat him down a ski hill - even the most difficult black diamond slopes. I wish his soul eternal rest and peace.

We are very saddened to hear of Greg's passing - he was an awesome attorney and friend. I will fondly remember the many discussions we had - not only legal in nature, but of life in general. He was a trusted advisor in law and life. He will be missed. Blessings to Kathy, David and Valerie.
