Obituary of Eleanor V. Frick
Eleanor V. Frick, 95, formerly of Falconer, died Tuesday October 3, 2023, in the Lutheran Home.
A native of Jamestown, she was born November 22, 1927, a daughter of the late Victor and Ebba Brandquist Carlson, Sr.
A 1945 graduate of Jamestown High School, she was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was baptized, confirmed, and married.
She enjoyed her role as homemaker and mother and was a lover of all animals, especially cats.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Lutheran Home for their care of the last 6 years. A special thanks to the former staff of A-2 for taking care of "Frickie."
Surviving is a daughter Karen Frick of Falconer; niece, who was more like a daughter, Sue (Jeff) Wilder; nephew Brad (Donna) Carlson; great nephews Chan (Christina) Carlson and Ryan (Christine) Carlson; great-great nephews Benjamin, Zachary, Lincoln, and Archer Carlson; niece Linnea Smith; nephew Nels Frick and several out-of-town nieces and nephews,
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Frick, whom she married January 1, 1949, and who died February 13, 2002; brothers Victor Carlson, Jr., and Robert Carlson; sister Evelyn Knapp and sister-in-law Marlene Carlson.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 3-6 pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
