Obituary of Elizabeth L. Whipple

Elizabeth (Betty) L. Whipple, 76, of 117 Camp Street, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Star Hospice House in Lakewood. She was born on May 24, 1947, in Fall River, MA, the daughter of the late Leonard Renskers and Mary (Teixiera) Renskers. Elizabeth earned a bachelor's degree from Empire State College in Professional Studies. She worked as a Senior Service Technician at Acu-Rite until her retirement but her passion was helping those in need, making her a pillar of support in the lives of many. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Fred. She was preceded in death by her parents, a companion, Lloyd Rickard, and a sister, Patricia Fisher. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family, with burial taking place in Lake View Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
