Aaron was my manager at Bbar and I always loved working with him. He shared a similar sense of humor about the world and workplace. We would sneak shots of tequila by the Dj booth or “have a meeting” as we called it. I fell out of touch after leaving the job but would still see him when I did his wife, Emily’s hair. Although our life’s went in different directions, I was happy to know he was existing in the world. I was heartbroken to hear otherwise. My heart and condolences go out to Emily and his family.

I am so sad to hear about Aaron passing. He was such a pleasure to work with and he solved problems and had ambition and was always learning and helpful.
I didn't realize I would only get those memories with him and I wish his wife Emily and family condolences. It's hard to lose someone and even harder to lose someone who really was irreplaceable.
I'm happy I got to know him and wish I got to make more fun memories with him.
Thinking about Aaron I can't help but smile he really was a pleasure to be around.
Lots of love
Clint

In Loving Memory of Aaron
Most of my memories with Aaron are from our cherished childhood, as adulthood led us on separate adventures. Aaron, as a child, was a fearless spirit who constantly pushed the boundaries of what was possible. Though he was often quiet, he had the uncanny ability to surprise us all with amazing bursts of energy and boundless enthusiasm.
One particular memory stands out vividly in my mind, a memory that perfectly captures the essence of Aaron's fearless spirit. It happened at our grandmother's house, the beloved gathering place for the Juarez grandchildren. On this day, the older kids were playfully pretending to be cheerleaders, cartwheeling, jumping, and performing stunts. Out of nowhere, 5-year-old Aaron joined the ranks, running across the row of cousins and executing a series of tumbles with the grace and enthusiasm that seemed to come naturally to him, despite not being a gymnast.
We, his cousins, stood there in awe, our hearts pounding with a mix of amazement and concern, fearing he might hurt himself. But Aaron remained unfazed, his face radiating with pride and an infectious, joyful smile that warmed our hearts. He tumbled with no fear, no hesitation, as if the laws of gravity and caution didn't apply to him.
The last time I saw Aaron, I was fortunate to share this memory with him. I wanted him to know that, even as the years passed and life took us in different directions, I still carried that memory with me. I told him that every time I witnessed my own children explode in a burst of energy, I couldn't help but think of him - a young boy who was adventurous, powerful, and yet so quiet, just like he always was.
To this day, that image of 5-year-old Aaron fearlessly tumbling about, oblivious to anything but the sheer joy of the moment, remains etched in my heart. It reminds me of the precious, beautiful soul we had the privilege of knowing and loving, a soul that left us far too soon.
Aaron, your fearless spirit and unbridled joy will forever inspire us. Your memory lives on in our hearts, a reminder of the magic that can happen when we fearlessly pursue life's adventures with pride and a beaming smile. You will always be a cherished part of our lives, a bright star in the tapestry of our shared memories. Rest in peace, dear cousin, and may your spirit continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew and loved you.

I worked on Aaron's documentary about 10KM in the archival internship. He created such a warm and welcoming space in an otherwise dingy and creepy office/recording studio. It was the most fun I ever had at a job, listening to his stories and jokes that I still quote. He was such a unique person, both in his compassion and his artistic vision. The art department at JCC feels empty without he and his students running around with cameras and inspiring each other. We all miss him dearly.

Aaron was a great teacher; very dedicated to his teaching. Without him or his classes I wouldn't have met my friends or came out of my shell much. I owe a lot to him. Let's hold on to the memories we have had with him. May he rest in rest in peace, and prayers to his family and wife Emily.

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon of August 5th with Aaron on Chautauqua Lake celebrating my brother’s (his father in law) birthday. Aaron manned the ship and we enjoyed floating, swimming, talking and laughing. I’m so happy we got to spend that time with him. We will miss his generous spirit, gentle manner and beautiful smile. An accomplished young man taken too soon. Our thoughts, prayers and much love to those he left behind.

Aaron was my mentor, professor and friend. He taught me so much in so little time. He introduced me to 10KM and helped me gain the internship which turned into a archival project we did together, I’ll never forget his perseverance and dedication to his teaching and his passion for film/ production. So much love yo Aaron’s family as I know how great of a soul he was. Fly the highest.
