Obituary of Deanna L. Westphal

Deanna L. Westphal, 82, of 303 W. 5th Street, died Monday November 6, 2023, in Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk. She was born September 22, 1941, in Buffalo, the daughter of Norman and Laura Weatherbee Franke. She graduated from Williamsville High School. While living in this area Deanna worked as a realtor for Coldwell Banker. Surviving are three children Kenneth (Michele) Westphal of Jamestown, Donna (Richard) Peterson of Little Valley, NY and Nancy (Todd) Westphal of Punta Gorda, FL; four grandchildren Jennifer (Mark) Goshgarian, Allison (Chris Myers) Westphal, PhD, Carley (Logan NeGron) Westphal and Alaura (John) Snyder; seven great grandchildren and a brother Dennis Franke of British Columbia, Canada. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Westphal, whom she married May 27, 1961, and who died May 22, 1979.
